After graduating he started working for WCTI News Channel 12 as a reporter. Previously, he was the recipient of the Fox News College Challenge because he reported on police body-worn cameras in Greensboro, NC: Hardin was in his early years of college. In addition, a panel of Fox news experts judged the national contest and choose Hardin’s report from various entries. While he was still young, he advanced his passion for storytelling while in eighth grade after introducing a 10-minute TV show for his middle school. He proceeded with advancing his skill all over high school producing, hosting and editing “Student Reports with Tyler Hardin.” The half an hour show aired every day on GCSTV-2 in Guilford County and concentrated on student activities, accomplishments and awards all over the high school system.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and exploring the great state of North Carolina, moving to the Crystal Coast and throughout the areas that are within. He’s passionate about storytelling and enjoys interacting with people, Hardin is ever thrilled to meet new friends.
