Sharyn Ghidella is an Australian journalist and news presenter. Monday through Friday, Ghidella and Max Futcher co-host Seven News Brisbane. She is also well recognized for covering the National Nine News program on the Nine Network. She previously worked with Bill McDonald and now co-hosts Seven News Brisbane with Max Futcher from Monday to Friday. She graduated with a degree in communication from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane.

Sharyn began working with the Seven Network in 2007, as a news presenter, by replacing Tracey Challenor. She later took over Talitha Cummins’ job as a news anchor on Weekend Sunrise in 2008 and held it until the end of 2010.
Along with Bill McDonald, Ghidella started hosting Seven News Brisbane in January 2013 and was also declared as the presenter of Today Tonight Queensland, but the show was canceled in February 2014. Prior to this, Sharyn had begun her career, working as a reporter and presenter for North Queensland Television, Ghidella. She also created and hosted Newsweek, a weekly current affairs program in the region. Before joining the Nine Network, she relocated to Brisbane to work for Network Ten’s news department.
