She was awarded by the producers of KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles for Journalism and for this reason, Zomorodi excursed the Los Angeles studios and also got guided on how to begin a broadcasting career. As a result to that day, she got an internship which became a permanent job at GOOD DAY LA as a news assistant. After that, she moved away from law school and never changed her mind.

Previously, her first broadcasting job was at Good Morning Southeast Texas the ABC affiliate in Beaumont. She later went back to her native town southern California and has never left afterward. Throughout the last decade, she worked for City View Channel 35 where she was a reporter and host. In addition, she served as a video journalist for Voice of America. Earlier to joining FOX 5, she was the anchor for DAYBREAK OC: a daybreak show of 2 hours.
Besides being in TV news, Zomorodi would be a teacher. She would bring all the other kids and teach them when she was young. Even though it’s not her occupation currently she still finds chances to advise and guide. She concludes by saying she’s fortunate to coordinate the intern program at FOX 5 and get to educate all day.
