Pete Hegseth is an American television presenter, host and writer. He is currently a regular contributor on Foxx News. Hegseth is an Army National Guard officer and former executive director of political advocacy groups Vets For Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America. Vets for Freedom is a conservative campaign that advocates greater privatization of the Department of Veterans issues.

He was in the U.S. military with deployments to Cuba and Iraq. Hegseth, a second lieutenant, served at Guantanamo Bay as a part of the New Jersey Army National Guard. He remained there until 2005.
