Brown is the daughter of the former governor of Kentucky. She is the daughter of John Y. Brown and Phyllis. Her father is a famous businessman and the former 55th president of Kentucky from 1979 to 1983. She gained fame after expanding his multimillion restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken.
