He joined ABC News in February 2013 as a cadet journalist; Adelaide
SA Science, Technology & Defence Industries reporter. In January 2014 he became a reporter based at the 639 ABC North & West studios in Port Pirie where he covered South Australia’s Mid-North, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Barossa and Clare Valleys for Radio, TV and Online.
His primary role was reporting on that diverse region ABC News bulletins on radio. He also presented local regional bulletins each weekday morning at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30am, as well as a statewide regional midday bulletin. He also acted as a video journalist as part of the ABC’s expanded coverage of regional news. He also produced packages for the flagship 7PM news on ABC TV, as well as live content for ABC News 24.
In March 2015 he became TV, Radio and Online journalist for ABC News in Canberra. He mostly covered the ACT court system, Territory politics and the local construction industry. This culminated in his coverage of the Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance and Corruption, including a number of exclusive reports. In September 2015 he was promoted to federal political reporter.
Prior to joining ABC News he served as Law Clerk at Cowell Clarke where he practiced Corporate and Commercial Law. Prior to that he was a Law clerk at Fox Tucker Lawyers. He has also served as an executive producer at Spectre Productions for five months.
