Guyton serves 13abc as a news reporter. In the fall of 2004, she took the upper hand of the great chance to work permanently at the station. However, it was in 2002, when she started working part-time at 13abc while she was still working at the university.
Previously, during her tenure at WNWO-TV, she started as the morning anchor then the main anchor at the station. In addition, Guyton was seen on a perennial unique program for The town of Toledo known as “It’s Reigning Frogs.” As you might recall, it was a general art show which resulted in a myriad of people to downtown Toledo and raising more than $150,000 for the community charities. It was a very flourishing program that she greatly loved to be a part of.
While the unique program came to an end, she moved to the University of Findlay to become the director of equine business development. During this time, she raised funds and supported their national championship equestrian shows, a thing that is pretty near to her heart.
Before that, she started her journalism career while working for WICU-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. While there, she spent 8 years and later left the station. Moreover, she decided to become a television anchor and reporter when she was 5 years.
During her leisure time, Guyton loves to play tennis, horseback riding and skiing. She takes participates with her horse at shows within the area and from 2004 to 2005 they had the opportunity to compete at the national finals horse shows in Washington, DC and Harrisburg, PA. Guyton’s horse and she were rated among the top ten in the United States in our division in 2004 as well as 2005. In conclusion, she is part of five local charities on the board of directors including YMCA Camp Storer and American Cancer Society.
