Weinstein later invited her to tour a downstairs kitchen at another restaurant he owned. He cornered her in a vestibule, tried to kiss her, and then masturbated in front of her, according to Sivan.
Weinstein apologized for his actions, claiming that he grew up in the “60s and 70s when all the rules about behavior and workplaces were different.” I recognize that the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a great deal of pain, and I sincerely apologize,” he said.
