Lama has covered Overseas major events, including the Egyptian border Gaza conflict, the Hong Kong swine flu outbreak, the summer 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah, Pope John Paul II’s funeral and slavery in Mauritania. She has also done broad reporting on the Arab reaction to the Iraq war.

Hasan was ABC News’ field producer from 2002 to 2003, travelling on location throughout the Middle East.
