But before that, she worked for KTVE in Monroe, Louisiana, where she started her professional career as a reporter and during this time she covered important stories soon after graduating from the university, including extreme weather (including destructive tornadoes resulting in an Emmy award for the station), presidential elections, local politics and fires.
Besides that, she worked for ABC’s famous soap opera One Life to Live, as well as World News Tonight, Good Morning America and The Rachael Ray Show.
