Kevin Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Durant is one of the highest-earning basketball players in the world, due in part to endorsement deals with companies such as Foot Locker and Nike.

Durant received an invitation to the United States national team training camp in 2007. Despite a strong performance, he was cut from the team when its roster was trimmed to its twelve-player limit.
