Crone is the current reporter for CBS2 and KCAL9, during her tenure at the station she has covered various stories including the historic LAUSD teacher strike, tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and the Thomas Fire which was the second-largest wildfire in the history of California among others. While on Tv her career has taken her to Mississippi, Nebraska, and Arizona.
Before moving to CBS2 and KCAL9 she began her career at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. She worked as a production assistant at KABC-TV. She presently reports next to the same journalists who mentored her during her humble beginnings of taking coffee to the anchors on set, pulling video and printing scripts eventually paid off resulting in a full-circle moment.
In conclusion, when Crone is out of the office she enjoys singing, cooking different types of cuisines, hiking, and attending Central Bible Church accompanied by her family. She’s part of the National Association of Black Journalists furthermore, she was awarded because of her work on matters that impact the black community.
