Melrose is the Executive Digital Producer working at WGHP-TV. To begin with, in May 2021, he was promoted to executive digital producer. Before that, he joined the station in July 2018 by taking the mantle of FOX8 daybreak digital producer.
Previously, he joined on with RockinghamNow after graduating from Guilford College this was a local newspaper and during this time he worked as a news reporter for almost 3 years at Rockingham County until 23 June 2018.
Besides that, Melrose has had various award-winning features published — nevertheless, he’s also proud because of the stories he informs his friends using pen and paper roleplaying games.
Before joining FOX8 he was editor-in-chief at The Guilfordian. While there, his assignments were staff writer, copy editor and also features editor. From there, in the wake of 2014, he joined The Greenleaf Review as a prose editor.
