Jon Heyman Biography

Jon Heyman is an American journalist, sports writer, and baseball communist, well known for working as an insider and FanRag Sports senior baseball writer at MLB Network. He also works for the WFANRadio in New York as a baseball insider. Previously he worked for CBS Sports and Sports illustrated.

In January 2016, it was announced that Heyman was leaving CBS and therefore joined the FanRag Sports Network as an insider for MBL and senior writer for Today’s Knuckleball.

Jon Heyman Trevor Bauer

Jon posted a tweet about LA Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer. Trevor was suspended from MBL for two years which is equal to 324 games, over sexual assault allegations. He has also been accused by 2 women of choking and raping them. Trevor seems to fight his ban, but he has not been pitched since 28th June, and he has been on leave for several months now.

After the first accuser spoke of sexual assaults, he was paid $38m by Los Angels Dodger and $32m left for the following year. Bearing in mind that players are not paid while under suspension, therefore the club will not be obligated to fulfill the balance of his contract in case his appeal is denied. As for now, an Unbiased arbitrator is said to handle his appeal, but the a high chance he will end up in the courtroom than on the baseball field currently.
