As the weekend meteorologist, Jennifer spent almost five years forecasting South Florida weather for WFOR, the CBS station in Miami. Jennifer also used to produce the weather for “Today in Florida,” the weekday morning at WSVN, and prior to that, she was the weekend morning meteorologist at WPLG in Miami.
Her profession in broadcast meteorology started in the summer of 2012. Accuweather, located in State College, Pennsylvania, hired her as a bilingual meteorologist. She was responsible for forecasting Spanish-speaking TV stations in parts of the Caribbean and Latin America. She also covered winter storms and tropical systems during her time at Accuweather and forecasted Super Storm Sandy.
