Ahead of moving to the west coast, she worked for WCTI in Jacksonville, North Carolina where she worked as an anchor, reporter and bureau chief, serving closely with the military community at Camp Lejeune. Most of her unforgettable stories include working together with Hope for The Warriors as the charitable allowed “warrior wishes” to most of our servicewomen and men.

Away from work, she’s found swimming, biking or running. Lake is an active member of the US Crossfit in Encinitas and the Triathlon Club of San Diego and utilizes her time practicing for Ironman distance triathlons.
Besides that, the professional sports Lake would take part in is tennis because she used to love the sport since high school and never listened to concentrate on her heart. She regrets not listening to her father. Moreover, if she was not in journalism, Lake would have been a kindergarten teacher however, this would have been hard to pick. She has been longing to join tv news since elementary school.
