Christopher Mason is a British journalist and the political editor of BBC News. Mason is also a presenter of the podcast and television programme Newscast and the host of the radio programme Any Questions?. Mason become the new editor of the BBC News on may 2022. Before that he was the presenter of Any Questions on Radio 4 and had been a Political Correspondent for ten years. Chris lived and worked in Brussels as Europe Correspondent and has reported from over 20 countries worldwide.
Chris began presenting the podcast Brexitcast in june 2017, together with Adam Fleming and was later joined by Laura Kuenssberg and Katya Adler. The podcast covered the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union from Brussels and London. From September 2019 to January 2020, Brexitcast was also broadcast on BBC One television.
